If the fire extinction systems work with the extra detection equipments, it is called as pre action sprinkler system.

It is separately in two ways with lock systems,

A – Single Interlock Pre-Action

A.1- Wet Pilot activated.
A.2- Dry Pilot activated.
A.3- Electrical activated.

B – Double Interlock Pre-Action

B.1- Electrical – pneumatic activated.
B.2- Electric – Electric activated.

If the detector (1) detect, it gives signal to control panel (2). Control panel send the correct alarm signal to closed solenoid valve (3). After opening the solenoid valve, water in deluge system, is discharging and cell in the deluge system will be opened (4). After opening the cell, water going to respectively check valve (5). Water moves on the sprinkler pipes and sprinkler don’t explode (6) that’s why there is no flowage problem on the are, In deluge valve start the working, pressured safety valve (7) allow the water moves, than check and confirm the deluge valve was opened.

Working Principle:

In pilot lines (wet, dry), after sprinklers explode or electrical detection (fume, heat and electrical discharging button) water moves is starting. Extra detection system (pilot sprinkler or detectors) it choose by provide the more quick detection.

Usage Purpose:

For preventing the hazards, which is cause from the sprinkler lines or sprinklers explodes.

B – Double Interlock Pre-Action

B.1- Electric-Pneumatic activated (Sprinkler+Detector)
B.2- Electric – Electric activated (Detector + Pressure reducer)

Electric-Pneumatic Double Interlock Pre-Action systems:

When the detector (1) detect, it sends a signal to control panel (2). Control panel sends the signal to solenoid valve (3) than release the valve. Deluge valve wouldn’t open until sprinkler(4) explode. In system sprinkler explodes decrease the pressure on the system that’s why pneumatic actuator (5) is getting opened. Detector detection and decreasing pressure on the system open the deluge valve (6) than open the valve. After working the deluge valve, safety valve (7) allow the water moves, and confirm the deluge valve is open.

Working Principle:
When the sprinklers are working, detection systems (sprinkler + detector or detector + pressure switch) send the signal to panel and panel open the solenoid valve than water start moves.

For preventing the flowages in maximum sensitive areas.
